We “usta” believe that at resurrection, our bodies die temporarily, and later rejoin our souls which never die. Now, science teaches that body and soul are 2 aspects of  the same energy. Thus, we personify energy, or spirit, or, for Christians, love. Resurrection becomes, therefore, the portrayal of love, and Jesus who loved fully, perseveres through death. Jesus also tells us, “Come follow me”. He is really saying, “Love as I have loved, and, to that degree, you will also rise. This presents us the opportunity to follow Jesus by loving as he loved.  All we need do,is love whomever we touch and with Christly passion. No wonder Paul writes, “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
